Located in beautiful Hightstown, NJ, our wine school is built on a tradition of making fine premium wines.

Our students come from all around the country. You may attend by yourself, with your family, or with a group of friends and associates. We feel, the more the merrier!

 How Our School Works

Whether you are a novice or wine expert, Sunset Hill is committed to enhancing your understanding and appreciation of wine.

Our school is a hands on operation. You actually perform all aspects of the wine making process using our state of the art facilities.

The course curriculum consists of four sessions over a twelve month period.

Day – 1 – Crushing – Sept/Oct
Day – 2 – Pressing – 7 to 8 days later
Day – 3 – Racking – The following Jan/ Feb
Day – 4 – Bottling – The following Aug/ Sept

Early in August we will inform you of when the grapes are expected and which class dates are open. The exact schedule of classes changes from year to year depending upon when the grapes are picked and arrive at the school. we envourage you to enroll now and reserve a spot for next season.

Commitment to Quality

Any wine is only as good as the grapes from which it is made. We have relationships with some of the finest vineyards in California, assuming a consistent source of exceptional grapes for your hand crafted wine.

Our wine making process is based upon a passioin for craftsmanship and a heritage of wine making expertise. Rule #1 in wine is to trust your own taste.
